Parents and family members are always welcome to visit our classroom!  I encourage you to become involved as much as possible in your child's education.  If you choose to visit or volunteer, I ask that you let me know you will be coming in case we have testing or special projects going on.  Throughout the school year there will be a variety of special classroom activities and celebrations.  Any help you can give is appreciated.  In my past experiences, volunteers have helped with parties, centers, reading with kids, art projects, field trips, cutting out flashcards, and packing student portfolios.  If you are unable to help during school, some of the volunteer work can be done at home.  I hope you consider volunteering some time to your child's classroom.  It makes him/her feel very special and helps your child know you value their education.  If you are interested in helping out, please let me know by emailing me at Sarah.Darling@k12.sd.us or calling me at school @ 582-6315.
